About Us

"Great company. Excellent craftsmanship, quality and affordable. I had 8 bids and picked Boyd. Not only were they highly affordable, but their quality was excellent. Randy, Bret, Carolyn, Jose, Juan, others were timely, reliable, quality focused and all round good people to work with. We are very satisfied with our new Deck and cover."

"I had Boyd's install a 24x25 carport. Install took a day, and pricing was reasonable. I like the look, and so far it's taken rain and snow with no sign of a leak."

"We absolutely love our new Pergola and how Brett helped us put our ideas together for a perfect setting. Workers were also very efficient and did a great job. Thanks to all"

"I hadn’t heard of Boyd’s Custom Patios before, and actually found them in one the Value Pages Magazines. I was reluctant to use a contractor that I had never heard of before, but with the finished product of my patio cover, I am so glad that I decided to go with them. From meeting with the estimater, Bret Boyd, to working with the installers, Bob and Jorge, to working with the stucco expert, Jose, I would give all of them a 5 star rating!!! I was at home most of the time, and had a lot of opportunity to interact with each of them..."

"DIY can be a gratifying endeavor, but coming home to a well crafted feature, built by Boyd’s is a wonderful thing. We are extremely pleased with the Pergola they built for our family. We started down this path, knowing we needed a shade structure to complete an outdoor kitchen area we recently completed. Getting protection from the west facing sun was a must. In researching the options, I considered DIY and also met with 6 separate companies..."

"We had Boyd's Custom Patio put a roof over our deck last year, and I couldn't be happier with the result. I absolutely love it. Bret listened to what we wanted (unlike some of the other companies we had give us quotes). We were able to show him photos of patio covers that we liked, and and between us we ended up coming up with something that was completely custom for us. He knew what our budget was and was willing to work with us to get a great design..."

"I had a great experience with Boyd’s Custom Patios. First off I had almost every awning company in the SLC valley give me a quote to make sure I was getting the right company for me. Bret came by to give me my quote. I was impressed when I told him what I was looking for and he knew exactly what I needed to do to get it done. One thing he did that the other companies did not do was text me pictures of awnings and car ports they have done with the exact color and different types of posts I was looking for so I knew exactly what I was getting and the price difference between them..."
